SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Department Director and the Occupational Therapy Supervisor, provides quality occupational therapy services to patients through evaluation and administration of treatment to restore function and prevent disabilities. Occupational Therapist with expertise in hand therapy to work in our outpatient clinic setting focusing on orthopedic and neurological hand and upper extremity injury management (elbows and shoulders included). Experience in hand therapy splinting and progressive treatment, including, but not limited to a student clinical specializing in hand therapy for 8 to12 weeks preferred. The schedule will be 4-10 hour days (day off to be determined at time of hire). OT staff are cross-trained in acute care therapy to support a minimum of 1 holiday weekend and 1 holiday per year. SPECIAL SKILLS: Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. LICENSE/CERT: Required: NBCOT (National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy), BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association), OTR (Occupational Therapist) EDUCATION: Required: Bachelors - Occupational Therapy
