The Occupational Therapist utilizes professional knowledge and behaviors to evaluate/assess and treat patients with a variety of physical, educational, or psychosocial disabilities.
Responsibilities:
1.Utilizes professional knowledge and behaviors to evaluate, assess and treat patients with a variety of physical, educational, or psychosocial disabilities.
2.Communicates effectively with patient, family members, and team members as needed.
3.Performs appropriate and necessary documentation and patient/family education, per division protocols.
4.Supervises COTA/L, volunteer, or student per OT regulations.
5.Other duties as required.
Other information: Technical Expertise
1.Experience in occupational therapy is required.
2.Experience working with all levels within an organization is required.
3.Experience in healthcare is preferred.
4.Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software is required.
Education and Experience
1.Education: Applicants must have a Bachelor???s degree, Master???s degree, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy.
2.Certification: Certification by National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy and current Ohio state licensure is required.
3.Years of relevant experience: 3 to 5 years is preferred.
