This position is located in the Social Work Service at the Albany VA medical center in Albany, NY. The Social Worker functions as part of the staff in the Addictions Treatment Services Program, inclusive of outpatient and residential treatment (12 residential beds) with primary focus in the outpatient program. Clinical services will be in coordination with a treatment team approach with this position providing a recovery-oriented focus with emphasis on family directed care involvement.
