The incumbent serves as the Program Coordinator for the Supportive Recovery Services (Substance Abuse Treatment Program) at the James J. Peters VA Medical center in the Bronx, NY. The position is located in the Mental Health Patient Care Center and reports to the Mental Health Patient Care Center Director and Chief of Social Work. The social worker in this position provides program oversight and coordination of all substance abuse treatment and programming throughout the medical center.
