Infection Prevention Practitioner (RN)
Overview Atlantic Health System is seeking a full-time Infection Prevention Practitioner (RN) at Overlook Medical Center, to work from 8 AM to 4 PM, including weekends and on-call as requested by department.Responsibilities Essential Job Functions:Surveillance. Reviews positive lab reports daily via EPIC and is responsible for organizations policy identification of MDRO's and organisms of epidemiologic significance and takes appropriate action. Conducts electronic chart reviews. Conferences with staff (nurses, physicians, therapists, techs) as needed. Participates in unit-based rounds, for adherence to infection prevention practices. Collects denominator data as needed. Performs Chart Audits for potential Healthcare Associated Infections (HAI) as possible
