Job Description:
Equipoise Healthcare is seeking a board-eligible or board-certified pediatric hematology and oncology physician. This position includes inpatient and outpatient care of children with cancer and blood disorders. You will manage a broad array of hematologic and oncologic disorders, including sickle cell disease, iron deficiency, bleeding and clotting disorders, ITP, histiocytoses, solid tumors, CNS tumors, leukemia, and more. We especially welcome candidates with an interest in general pediatric hematology and oncology, as well as survivorship, thrombosis and hemostasis, or solid tumors. There are opportunities to be involved in program development to the extent that you are interested and capable. Equipoise Healthcare is a new multi—specialty pediatric practice, based in Wichita, Kansas that opened in the autumn of 2022 with pediatric hematology/oncology and palliative care services. We are currently making plans for other pediatric specialties as well. This is a public benefit private medical practice, founded and managed by a physician, with the goal of delivering high quality pediatric specialty care to the Midwest in a format that keeps kids as close to home as possible and reduces the burden on families.
