INPATIENT JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a full time Inpatient Internal Medicine Physician interested in building a practice and growing with the Toms River, New Jersey community. This is an excellent opportunity for an Internist seeking a flexible schedule with minimal call schedule.

• Join team of collegial physicians
• Shared call 1:4 weekends
• Consult on 15-20 patients
• Effective Marketing teams based at acute care hospitals
• Ability to moonlight as hospitalist at local acute care hospitals if desired

PRACTICE MODEL 

Physician will establish a private practice to include a caseload of medically complex inpatient rehabilitation patients. The Physician will set up a relationship with an independent billing company and retain 100% of his/her own billing and collections. Encompass Health hospitals are extremely busy with high patient volumes - Encompass Health has its own well-trained outreach teams that identify appropriate inpatient rehabilitation candidates from surrounding areas.
